When it comes to painting, one of the most important decisions you’ll make is determining your color scheme.
This video describes the basics of the color wheel and how you can go about choosing colors that coordinate well together. The video also demonstrates how different geometric shapes drawn within the color create distinct color patterns and schemes. For example, an equilateral triangle points out triads of color, while isosceles highlights two complementary colors and another color across the wheel to create harmony. Other shapes such as squares and rectangles also make effective color schemes.
